The Legacy of Dr. Sallye Sawyer Scott

Our journey began 45 years ago when Dr. Sallye Sawyer Scott opened the doors of our Sardis location. As one of the first female optometrists in Mississippi, Dr. Sallye set a high standard for care and community involvement. Her dedication to serving the eye care needs of the Sardis community laid the foundation for what would become a legacy of excellence. Dr. Sallye provided compassionate care until her retirement in 2020, when her son, Dr. Scott, took over the practice, continuing his mother's tradition of quality, patient-centered service.

Expanding Our Care to Senatobia

In 1994, Dr. Sallye expanded our reach by establishing the Senatobia location, which has since become our primary practice. Situated in a small-town setting just 30 minutes from Memphis, Tennessee, our Senatobia office continues to uphold the high standards set by our founder. We have grown and evolved over the years, but our core values of integrity, dedication, and personalized care remain unchanged.
